Buildings
The objective of
Westward III is to build a town that everyone wants to live in. To do
this, you must build a town that offers everything from housing,
employment, security and entertainment. Here you can find
descriptions of the various buildings available in the game, along
with additional requirements where applicable. |
|
Bank:
In times like these, keeping your money under your mattress, or in a coffee can behind some books, may seem like the way to go, but believe you me, a Bank is where it's at! Think about it, you give them your money, they give you a little book to write in. Sounds great, I know...but wait, there's more! Deposit your money today, and for letting the Bank baby sit it, they will pay you interest. Ask for details today and remember - the more you save, the more you earn!
A Bank also allows your Mayor to collect taxes and will raise town happiness, but it also attracts money-hungry bandit attacks.

you resources, but they will greatly improve your buildings'
efficiency.

Bridge:
When you find yourself facing troubled waters, or are too lazy to swim, a Bridge is just the medicine man prescribes. Bridges, unlike other non-conventional water crossing methods like divine powers, beavers, running really, really fast and teleporting, will get you where you need to go, dry and in one piece. Place Bridges on a river bank and let your feet do the rest. Just make sure you build Lumber Mill first, or it's no Bridge for you!
