Opening Story: 

In Grim Tales: Bloody Mary, return to your childhood as the legend of Blood Mary takes on new life. After a terror-filled call from your niece at her boarding school, you race to her rescue, only to discover that something has gone terribly wrong. Creatures of darkness abound in the building, throwing knives and clawing at you at every chance and the sing-song voices of children warn you that Bloody Mary is walking these halls. Now, it's up to you to put an end to her terror and rescue the children who have been caught under her wicked spell.

General Tips for Playing Grim Tales: Bloody Mary

Difficulty Settings - There are three difficulty settings in this game, casual, advanced, and hardcore. In Casual Mode, the hint and skip buttons charge quickly and there are sparkles to indicate active areas. In Advanced Mode, the hint and skip buttons charge at a slower pace and there are no sparkles for active areas. In Hardcore mode, the hint and skip buttons are disabled and there are no sparkles for active areas.

Tasks - The task button is found in the bottom left of your screen and will show you your current objectives.

Magnifying Glass - When your cursor turns into a magnifying glass, it means you can zoom in on an area to get a closer look.

Hand Cursor - When your cursor turns into a hand, it means you can pick up an item and add it to your inventory or interact with an object in some way.

Menu - The menu button is found in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.

Hints - Hints are available throughout the game in the lower left corner to give you help when you need it. Click here if you're stuck. Just remember, these take time to charge before you can use it again.

Diary - Your diary is located in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. You can find game notes, goals, and observations here.

Map - Your map is located in the Diary in the bottom right hand corner and it will show your current location as well as any active areas for you to investigate. Click on an area to fast travel to a location.

Inventory - Your inventory can be found at the bottom of the screen. Just hover your mouse over that area to make it appear. Click on the padlock in the top left to lock it in place.

Hidden Object Scenes - Hidden Object Areas will sparkle. Objects in purple are hidden and require an extra step for you to find it.

Puzzles - During puzzles and mini-games, the skip button will let you skip the puzzle once it's fully charged. The info button will give you further instructions on how to solve the puzzle, and the reset button will restart the puzzle.

Navigation Arrow - These will appear when you are able to move to another screen. Click on it to move.
