In Time Mysteries: Inheritance, join Vivien Ambrose as she discovers that her father has been kidnapped by a mysterious stranger who can travel through time and that her father has been hiding a secret that they, too, are time travelers. Through the help of Ball (as Vivien calls her father's crystal ball) Vivien must travel through different periods of time to collect seven magic rings that will repair Ball and allow them to discover what happened to her father.

Time Mysteries: Inheritance is pretty much the tried and true Hidden Object game. The graphics are good and clear. The hidden object scenes are just the right amount of challenge. If you have to use the hint button, you can slap yourself in the forehead and say, "Now, why didn't I see that?" The puzzles are challenging but not impossible (especially if you look at our walkthrough). The plot while not completely engaging is also not distracting. You know how it is when it just gets so stupid that you just want to scream at your computer. Well, not here. There was one glitch that I found causing me to have to restart the game (but not start over), and I'll tell you where that is if you want to know.
The benefit to Time Mysteries: Inheritance is that it is not frustrating. Hints are unlimited and have no recharge time as long as you are willing to play a rather fun match 3 game. It's a nice little break to go off and play a minute or two of matching, which is just about my limit before I get bored anyway. Hmmm, can you tell I get bored easily? Good thing life is never too boring with a little boy running around the house creating chaos in his wake. In any case, Time Mysteries: Inheritance was the perfect amount of challenge for a little distraction as we head into the "most wonderful time of the year." Have you been out shopping yet?
