This week I bring you The Fool, a unique little adventure/hidden object game that I really enjoyed.
First, let me say the graphics are great! They are a little different than I'm used to, but I really felt immersed in the atmosphere. The game play is a bit more adventure than hidden object, with only 18 hidden object scenes in all. I would say they are moderately hard. The puzzles range from easy to hard. I found most of the puzzles to be intriguing and fun, a few were a bit frustrating which is why there is a skip button! The game play is done in chapters. There are 5 chapters in all, each one with a handful of scenes you must trek back and forth through to move onto the next chapter. I thought in terms of what item to use where and where to go next was done very well. I only had to wander around a few times in order to figure out what I was supposed to do next. There isn't a lot of ambiance in this game, but what there was good. The storyline was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed being "The Fool" and trying to save my princess!
I give this game a hearty two thumbs up! I highly recommend you purchase this game. I would have had it to you sooner, but finals are on the way, papers are coming due, and balancing school, writing guides, and a boyfriend is time consuming! I only have one year left before I (finally) graduate! I'll try and get another guide done before the end of the month. I'll be heading home this weekend for Easter break and then back for those last few weeks before Summer vacation. I can't believe it's almost summer already! I hope everyone has a great Easter holiday and is enjoying Spring! Until next time, happy gaming!
