Does anyone know what those things on the bottom of cows are? Well in case you have been misinformed for the last however many years of your life, they are called "peanut butters." So the family is driving around in the country the other day and Max yells out, 'oh my gosh! I just saw that cow's peanut butters!" We were like, what?! Of course curiosity got the best of us and we inquired and were incredulously informed, that they were the things under the cow that the milk comes from. There is no point to this story, nor does it in any way relate to the latest game I have played. It is just something that I think needed to be clarified and someone might want to contact wikipedia for a retraction.
So I ended up going backwards and playing the first Echoes of the Past game: Echoes of the Past - Royal House of Stone. I did enjoy the game but being the first of the series the graphics although beautiful, were not as sharp and captivating as the later games. The objective is to find out who cursed the inhabitants and release them from the spell that has turned them all to stone, so you can get back to your own time. The game play was much the same as its sequel versions. It does not play straight through, but jumps you around scenes to find needed items for other areas of the game. It mostly consisted of hidden object puzzles which varied in their solutions. At the end of many of the hidden object puzzles, was a mini puzzle requiring you to match objects to gain a needed item. Most of the non hidden object puzzles were fairly simple in their strategies and did not take long to figure out. You could probably get through this one in a day if you have no other obligations. You all know by now I love the Echoes of the Past games and this was no exception. Hoping that the series has more in store for me to play and write about.
